Where it all began - along the lake in Manitoba.  Our story was born in this rugged landscape, where the spirit of adventure and exploration runs deep.

 

Extreme Testing in Brutal Conditions

Every winter, we put our designs to the ultimate test on Lake Winnipeg, with its arctic-like conditions.  This massive lake features snow sculpted by fierce winds into sastrugi, much like what you'd find in Antarctica.  With temperatures plunging to -65°F with the wind chill, Lake Winnipeg offers a unique proving ground for our gear.  Its vast expanse - the 10th largest freshwater lake in the world - provides a setting where the horizon fades into endless snow, ice, and sky.  This extreme environment ensures our products are pushed to the limit and refined to perform flawlessly in the harshest conditions.
